Detroit rapper Hub Corleone released the second project of his young career; 11/18 Reloaded on December 30th of 2022, wrapping up what was a productive year for him.
Following up his first release of 11/18 Unexpected, Hub Corleone shows just how much a artist can grow in the matter of a year when they're motivated.
Hub Corleone separates himself from other artist on this tape by focusing on being himself and his own hardships instead of the same generic topics that most rap songs cover.
11/18 isn't just the title of his first two mixtapes, but November 18th is a day Hub Corleone will never forget. The date he lost his twins, the day his perspective on life was forever changed.
Dedicating both of his releases to his lost children Hub Corleone's music is often more than just rhymes overtop a melody and more of a therapy session. His transparency and truthfulness on tracks is a welcomed difference from most upcoming artist.
"The internet gets caught up in their own world and forget about reality. I always say “Let’s bring the real back”, so people know it’s okay to be yourself." - Hub Corleone
In efforts to keep his projects as authentic as possible, there aren't any features except for fellow upcoming artist RIT Gwuap who is also the cousin of Corleone and was present for most of the hardships that Corleone mentions throughout the tape.
While this tape tackles a lot of tough subject matter Hub is able to still create fun songs worthy of a night out, songs like "Pimp Yours" & "Million" prove that.
11/18 Reloaded will be a staple in Hub Corleone's catalog no matter how far he makes it in his music career. We're forever greatful for Hub's bold originality.
